Carbon Reduction Plan
Woodhouse’s Carbon Reduction Plan sets out our commitment to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions from our UK operations by 2050 at the latest.
Our Carbon Reduction Plan sets out how we are measuring and reducing emissions across our UK operations, including manufacturing, storage, maintenance, offices, transport and site activities.
Our Commitment
Alongside our long-term Net Zero target, we have set an interim organisational target to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by at least 10% by the financial year ending 31 October 2030, compared with our 2024–25 baseline. Quantified targets for the required Scope 3 categories will be established once the baseline is complete.

Measuring and reporting our emissions
Our first organisational emissions baseline covers 1 November 2024 to 31 October 2025. The full emissions inventory is currently being completed and will cover Scope 1, Scope 2 and the five Scope 3 categories required by PPN 006.
We have committed to completing and reviewing the 2024–25 baseline and publishing an updated Carbon Reduction Plan by 30 November 2026, followed by annual updates.
Measures already in place
Our existing environmental management measures include:
– ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management and ISO 20121:2012 Event Sustainability Management certification;
– coordinated transport and load planning;
– HVO use in yard forklifts and LED lighting;
– inspection, repair and continued use of temporary stabling and modular components;
– material recovery, reuse and recycling arrangements; and
– rainwater harvesting and mains-water monitoring.
