Seasonal Site Operative Jobs (Multiple Positions Available)
Salaried seasonal role | April to September | UK-wide travel
We are recruiting Seasonal Site Operatives to join our site teams working on the build and takedown of major agricultural and flagship equestrian events across the UK.
This role suits people used to practical, hands-on outdoor work, whether from agriculture, construction, events or similar industries. The work is physical, team-based and takes place on live event sites across the country.
Regular travel and overnight stays during the working week are part of the role, along with occasional weekend work.
The Work
- Assisting with the build and takedown of temporary stabling and large temporary event structures
- Handling materials, loading and unloading equipment
- Working as part of a site crew under an experienced Site Manager
- Following clear health and safety procedures on live sites
- Working to fixed event dates, ensuring builds are completed on time
You will be working behind the scenes on the build and takedown for leading agricultural shows and flagship equestrian events, including Farmfest, The Game Fair, Royal Windsor Horse Show and Burghley Horse Trials.
What We Are Looking For
- Practical, reliable people comfortable with physical outdoor work
- Able to travel UK-wide and stay away during the working week
- A strong team ethic and willingness to follow instructions and work safely
- Experience in agriculture, events, construction or similar roles is helpful, but full training is provided
What Is On Offer
- Guaranteed pay: £29,500 basic (pro rata, salaried, not zero hours)
- Accommodation paid when working away
- £20 per night lodging allowance
- Travel assistance within the Nottingham area for collection and drop-offs
- A full season of varied, hands-on work
- Opportunity to return season after season, with scope to progress into longer-term roles for those who show commitment
Full training is provided, with further development opportunities available over time.
